Unpaid Wages
In California, employees are entitled to the appropriate compensation for all hours worked. Employees’ compensation includes more than just hour their hourly or salary wages. It also includes unused vacation owed to you upon employment termination, commissions, bonuses, overtime work, and certain off-the-clock work.
Minimum wage in California
California’s current minimum wage is $12.00 per hour. Effective January 1, 2020, California’s minimum wage will be increased to $13.00 per hour.
Other Wage and Hour Issues
In California, employers are required to pay employees on days designated as regular paydays, at least twice during a calendar month.
When an employee has been discharged from his employment, the employer must pay the employee all of the employees’ wages at the time of termination.
